G.I.F.T. Colour is an application to extract / select / create colours using various methods, and provide them in a format for web pages / programming languages / image editors. It provides information on the individual components of colours in Red Green Blue (RGB), Hue Saturation Luminance (HSL), or Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black (CYMK) formats.

The codes to create the colour in various applications include "HTML", "Visual Basic", Delphi" and "CSS".
Swatches of colour (in bitmap format) can be exported to the clipboard.

G.I.F.T. Colour provides four different methods to select colours:

  • A colour can be selected under the cursor from any area of the screen.
  • Palettes of 256 colours can be loaded, created, edited or exported in "Paint Shop Pro's" palette (pal) format.
  • Any colour can be created its individual components (RGB, CYMK, HSL).
  • Individual numeric colour component values can be entered in RGB or HSL format.
  • A "Gamma" wheel allows colours to be picked based on their hue.
  • Gradients can be created between two colours.
