Overview

top of page

Morse code invented by Samuel Morse was used to encode / decode characters by a system of long and short pulses. In the table below the short and long pulses can be set to any desired characters, and the separator character can be set to a space, a comma, or to list each set of pulses on a new line. There are two different versions of the code (American and International) with the American version not supporting all punctuation characters.
